Scouting Unites to Support Ukrainian Youth

Shortly after the February 2022 invasion of Ukraine, Scouting America units from the Transatlantic Council (TAC) took immediate action to support families seeking safety across Europe. In Rome later that year, TAC formed a specialized task force: Aquile Randagie (Stray Eagles).

Named in memory of the brave Italian Scouts who maintained their values in opposition to Mussolini’s dictatorship, our mission is to ensure that the spirit of Scouting knows no borders. From providing immediate refugee support to organizing life-changing summer camp experiences, we empower displaced youth to find joy, friendship, and a sense of normalcy in extraordinary times.
